What this site is
SF Assistant posts a daily list of San Francisco apartments open for viewing. You can read the list without signing in. Signing in with Google reveals each apartment's full address and a link to its listing.
What we collect
Your email address and your name, and only when you choose to sign in. We request three things from Google: your sign-in identity, your email address, and your basic profile. Nothing else — not your contacts, not your files, not anything else in your Google account.
When you sign in we record your email address, your name, the time, and which day's tour list you were looking at. That is so we know who asked about what, and can follow up.
If you go on to submit the preferences form, you give us whatever you type into it. That is the only other information we hold.
What we do with it
- Keep you signed in, using a cookie in your browser
- Know who asked about which apartments, so we can follow up
- Contact you about a viewing you asked about
We do not sell your email address, and we do not post anything to your Google account or send anything on your behalf.
Cookies
One cookie, set when you sign in, holding your email address in signed form. It is not readable by scripts and it is not used to track you across other sites. There is no advertising or analytics tracking on this site.
Deleting your data
Signing out clears the cookie. To have your email address, name and any form submission deleted entirely, emailsupport@sf-assistant.comand we will do it within 30 days.
